Error messages for embroidery files
My embroidery machine does not recognize embroidery files:
Please check the following error possibilities:
- Download article:
> did you unzip the file with Win Zip or a similar program?
- are there umlauts in the file name Ä,Ü,Ö,ß?
> change name if necessary
- does your machine have problems with spaces or special characters?
(Error message with Brother Innovis 800E, Janome MC 500 E)
> remove or change the file name without umlauts, spaces or special characters
- does the embroidery file have too many punctuation marks?
> Rename file
- is the file size according to the frame size?
(13x18 does not fit in 10x10!)
> Adjust file to frame size
- How many stitches does your embroidery file have?
> your embroidery machine may not recognize the file because it has too many stitches.
WATCH OUT FOR THE W6 8000:
although a stitch number limit of 35tsd is given, the rule of thumb for the 13x18 frame is: no more than 30tsd stitches!
The result is not so exhilarating on thin artificial leather or other thin material (gauze diaper, etc.):
- 2 layers of washable fleece BEFORE the main material and 2 layers of washable fleece BEFORE the main material and then embroider!
Then there is simply more material and the result becomes more beautiful!
